Move over Goop, Kourtney Kardashian has a new lifestyle website full of Kurated Kontent

Just under a decade since Gwyneth Paltrow launched her lifestyle website Goop into the world of health and wellness, Kourtney Kardashian has debuted her own offering for us to ogle at – and it’s been met with a similar thinly veiled disdain by critics.

Kourtney’s new lifestyle website, named ‘Poosh’ after the nickname Kardashian affectionately calls her daughter Penelope, purports to be a, “guide to living your best life” that shares how to live “a modern lifestyle, achievable by all”.

The mother of three, who is preparing to celebrate her 40th on April 18th, is known for her strict diet and unwavering approach to ‘healthy living’. Full of images of the reality TV star celebrating her slim, toned figure and fabulous lifestyle, Kourtney told US Vogue that her aim for the website was to curate, “a lifestyle that’s very much the lifestyle that I lead.”

The website ‘pooshes’ a whole bunch of luxury and arguably unnecessarily expensive products in each blog post, touting them as ‘must-haves’ or vital for achieving that ‘best life modern lifestyle’ described by Kardashian in the ‘about’ section of the blog.

The products range from amethyst infrared pads (RRP $1,595) – which is a must-have for a relaxing night in apparently – to a bathroom bin which retails at $1,850 and makes for a ‘subtle yet chic’ home update.

Treatments covered by Kourt on the site include vampire facials and an ‘Insta-famous Insta-facial’ by plastic surgeon to the stars, ‘Dr. Diamond’. So expensive is this procedure that you have to get a quote in person from the doctor himself – but it’s still fun to watch Kourt and her friends get the facials done, right guys? (Note: At the time of writing, no vaginas have been steamed for the content of this website so far).

In terms of the advice shared by Kardashian on the site, the health-conscious mum shares tips “to get your abs bikini ready”, whilst promoting CBD gummies (containing cannabis plant extract) as a way to ‘chill out’ and ‘unwind’, as well as her top tips on “how to look good naked” (spoiler: it doesn’t involve just taking your clothes off and standing in the buff).

Poosh also features recipes, but let’s just say ‘Kourt’s signature salad’ is literally a boiled egg, half an avo, half a tomato and some mozzarella on a plate. Chopped items on a plate does not a salad make Kourtney! “A lunch you can eat on repeat” the website quips. We’re not convinced.

With a Netflix TV show in the works and a decade in the wellness and lifestyle space already behind her, we doubt that Gwyneth Paltrow and Goop are too worried about the new celeb competition on the lifestyle website block. Besides, Gwyn will probably welcome some of the spotlight being taken off Goop’s bizarre wellness recommendations for now, while the internet gleefully trolls Kardashian’s content instead.
